This past October, I had the joy of photographing Jes and Alex's wedding at The Barn at Sycamore Farms here in Tennessee, and it couldn't have been a more beautiful fall day.
Golden sunlight poured through the trees as colorful autumn leaves surrounded the venue, creating the kind of October backdrop every couple dreams about. From the moment the day began, there was an unmistakable excitement in the air, thanks in part to one of the biggest bridal parties I've ever photographed. Every corner of the day was filled with laughter, anticipation, and the kind of energy that only comes from being surrounded by the people who know you best.
One of my favorite moments was their first look. The second they saw each other, the emotions hit. There were tears, quiet smiles, and a few moments where it felt like the rest of the day simply paused around them. It was such a beautiful reminder that beneath all the planning and celebration, a wedding is ultimately about two people promising forever.
As the sun dipped lower, they celebrated the evening with their family and friends before ending the night with the sweetest exit in a vintage getaway car, the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable day.
