"I am admittedly someone who takes forever to make decisions, falls down research rabbit holes, has a spreadsheet for everything. Hopping on that first Zoom call with Faith was the wedding vendor version of love at first sight, and choosing her as our wedding photographer has been the easiest “yes” so far during this crazy planning stage. She is (of course) prompt, professional, and extremely communicative throughout the process — all of the must-have traits you really need for a good working relationship with a photographer.

 

But she is SO much more!! Faith is one of the sweetest, funniest humans you’ll ever meet. Over the last few months I’ve known her since finding her through Facebook, I’ve been so grateful for her friendship and support — “Above and beyond” doesn’t even cover it.

 

Maybe anyone can take photos, and a lot of people can even take great photos, but to be able to build the kind of relationship you need to take fantastic photos that feel authentic to you as a couple is truly an art, and Faith has that special spark. I received sneak peeks of our engagement photos yesterday (within 24 hours of the session!), and I couldn’t stop looking at them. We have never had professional photos taken of us before… ever. And I find myself (obsessively) looking at these pictures on my phone with a sense of wonder — how did she manage to capture what makes us “us” so perfectly?? Whatever it is, we’re grateful for that magic and skill!

 

If you have the opportunity to work with (and to know) Faith, you should be JUMPING at the opportunity. I’m so thankful the universe brought us together, and I know we’re in the very best hands for our wedding weekend next year."

Alex and Alex are literally my twin flames! From their sense of humor to their adventurous spirit, they always manage to make me smile! Getting the opportunity to get to know them these past few months has been the greatest privilege, but Getting to document the beginning of this chapter in their love story has me ALL in the feels! Rock Island State Park is one of my favorite places to do engagement sessions, so to say that I was excited when they chose this location is a huge understatement!
